Cette rencontre fait suite à la première rencontre Statistiques Mathématiques organisée en 2003 par l'Université de Cantabria à Santander. Elle a pour but d'approfondir et d'amplifier les échanges scientifiques entre les Universités de Santander, Valladolid et Toulouse.
