I am an emeritus Mathematics professor at the University Bordeaux I, interested in all aspects of number theory, and in particular of computational and explicit number theory. I am in particular responsible for the creation of the Pari software, now maintained by Karim Belabas.
The errata for my book "A course in computational algebraic number theory" published as GTM 138 by Springer-Verlag are the following.
A fifth printing including all known errata may be published soon.
A sequel to GTM 138, entitled "Advanced topics in computational number theory" has been published as GTM 193 in January 2000.
NEW!! NEW!!
Two GTMs comprising a 1236 page book have just been published in May 2007 under the generic title "Number Theory" (GTM 239 and GTM 240). The first book contains Part I: Tools, and Part II: Diophantine Equations. The second book contains Part III: Analytic Tools, and Part IV: Modern Tools.
