An overview over some Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) research at 63 degrees 26 minutes north, i.e. Trondheim, Norway, will be given. Four topics will be covered: 1. Rankine-Hugoniot-Riemann solver for multidimensional conservation laws with source terms. 2. Cartesian grid method for compressible flow using simplified ghost point treatments. 3. High order numerical simulation of fluid-structure interaction in the human larynx. 4. Contact line treatment for incompressible two-phase flow with the sharp interface method.
