Modelling and first mathematical results through numerical schemes for a gaz-solid chromatography system.

We present models related to chromatography with the sorption effect (unknown velocity). Then, we focus on a 2x2 Hyperbolic PDE model with special features. All entropies are described. A Godunov scheme is adapted to get existence of solutions. Wave front tracking are used to study precise behavior of weak entropy solutions. Finally fractional BV (Bounded Variation) spaces arise as critical spaces for this model.
