Positions
I am a full professor of applied mathematics with IMB since 2011.
I was elected member of Institut Universitaire de France in 2013.
I am a Member of the national comity for scientific research (CNRS section 41, mathematics).
I am in charge of the master program Image, Optimisation, and Data Science at Bordeaux University.
Research Interests
I am interested in optimization (with applications to deep learning) and mathematical problems related to image processing. My main research interests and contributions are in the following fields:
- Mathematical image processing: mathematical modeling, fast optimization algorithms, variational approaches.
- Optimization: smooth and non smooth optimization, convex and non convex optimization, functional convexification, primal dual methods, Nesterov accelerations, ADAM.
- Data Science/Artificial Intelligence: deep learning, machine learning, big data, ...
