Variation of fundamental groups of curves in positive characteristic

Abstract This talk is a loose continuation of Michel Raynaud's talk ``Variation du groupe fondamental des courbes propres en caractéristique p>0'' at the workshop ``Deformation of Galois Covers'' in Bordeaux, January 2002. I will present various developments for these ten years, especially including my recent joint work with Mohamed Saidi.
