The main topics of the conference are:

  • Lifting of Galois covers of algebraic curves and recent progress on Oort's conjecture.
  • Reduction of Galois covers and torsors under finite group schemes.
  • Fundamental groups and the section conjecture of Grothendieck.

    • There will be three series of lectures on these topics in the morning and one hour lectures in the afternoon on related subjects.

    For people interested in presenting a poster, space will be provided for this purpose at the entrance of the lecture room.
